Is electric mobility the right choice?
It has been over 100 years that we drive internal combustion engine (ICE) cars. Our grandparents, parents, and people we have looked up to always drove cars powered by gasoline or some sort of combustion material – no questions asked.
Today we have several choices. We can continue driving vehicles powered by oil, we can use so-called “alternative propulsion systems”. So now we have a choice. This confuses many people since they have never had a choice before. And, let’s be honest, mostly anybody ever understood how combustion engines worked – people just drove what they got served. This is understandable but not an excuse not to understand the spectrum of today’s mobility, the options we have, and the consequences of our choices.
If we continue driving vehicles that burn stuff, we will add to the enormous pollution problem we have. Kilometer by kilometer we will add CO2 and other gases to the environment. If we drive battery electric vehicles, we will need rare-earth metals for some time and at the same time stop releasing CO2 as we drive.
We believe that only 100% battery electric vehicles are a realistic alternative.
Are you ready to make the right choice and switch to electric?
