Mobility professionals are switching
The opening sentence comes from someone who should know, the managing director of Arval Switzerland. The company, which operates in 30 countries, is the largest provider of full-service leasing in Switzerland and sells a complete package with all car-related services for a fixed monthly fee. In Switzerland alone, Arval looks after 15000 vehicles. In the current year, the number of electric vehicles at Arval will double to 1000.
Companies that switch don’t want to go back
Service and maintenance of an e-car are around half as expensive as service and maintenance of a comparable conventional car. And the fuel costs for the e-car are around a third of those that run on a combustion engine. In addition, e-cars have a higher second-hand value because the drive unit is far more durable and the demand for e-cars is increasing.
Who calculates switches
Managers responsible for vehicle fleets have a clear mission: to ensure mobility at the best overall price. What is true for a company is also true for our individual needs: The advantages are obvious in e-mobility. And they will continue to grow: the battery capacity will increase, the range will increase, the purchase price of an e-car will decrease. Just calculate.
